Role: SDE - 2 (Frontend) Company: Pepper Location: Mumbai (Preferred) / Remote, India Job Type: Full-time Experience: 4–8 Years Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces focused on usability. - Integrate AI-powered features, conversational interfaces, and intelligent user experiences into frontend workflows. - Consume and integrate REST APIs and backend services efficiently. - Optimize application performance, rendering, and frontend architecture. - Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code. - Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews. Requirements: - Strong experience with React.js, Next.js (SSR, SSG, App Router), and TypeScript. - Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and styling solutions like Tailwind CSS. - Experience with REST APIs, state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API), and Git. - Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and testing frameworks. - Experience or strong interest in building AI-powered UI features, LLM APIs, and AI SDK integrations. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
