🏆 How landed on the interview?
Applied via careers portal. HR reached out after 1 week
Round 1: Online Assessment | HackerRank
Flatten a deeply nested array without using flat() (LC Medium)
First non-repeating character in a string, O(n) solution (LC Easy)
MCQs on JavaScript fundamentals and browser concepts
💡 This round filters fast. If you are slow on array problems, practise until they feel automatic.
Round 2: Hiring Manager/Culture Fit
▸ Most complex frontend feature you shipped, walk me through it
▸ How do you debug a performance issue reported in production?
▸ What would you redesign on Myntra's product listing page and why?
💡 Use the Myntra app before this round. That redesign question is specific.
Round 3: Frontend + DSA
▸ Implement throttle from scratch, return the last call result
▸ Write a custom event emitter with on(), off(), emit()
▸ What causes layout thrash and how do you fix it?
▸ Build infinite scroll product listing in React
Handle 10,000 items without freezing the UI
Virtualize list, debounce scroll, handle API pagination
💡 Performance is not optional when building for millions of users on slow connections.
Round 4: DSA
Merge K sorted linked lists (LC Hard)
Lowest Common Ancestor in a Binary Tree (LC Medium)
Sliding window maximum (LC Hard)
After each: time complexity, space complexity, can you optimize?
💡 Myntra is heavy on DSA for frontend. Trees, linked lists, sliding window are all fair game.
Round 5: HR Round
▸ Current CTC, expected CTC, notice period
▸ Why Myntra over other product companies?
💡 Fashion tech at this scale is a specific problem. Show you understand it.
Final Thoughts
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀
▸ DSA is heavier here than most frontend roles. Do not skip it.
▸ Round 3 has both DSA and machine coding. Stamina matters.
▸ Use the app. Every round after Round 2 expects product opinions.
